1. Mix butter,both sugars, egg, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder until you have a dough.
2. Stir in the macadamia nuts and half of the chopped chocolate. Set the rest aside for topping.
3. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
4. Roll into balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
5. Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 15 minutes.
6. Press the remaining chocolate onto each cookie and return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
