  • 1 stick (1/2 pack) butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 oz unsalted macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 1 bar brown dairy chocolate, chopped and halved
  • 1 bar white dairy chocolate, chopped and halved OR sub both for 2 bars of two-tone chocolate, chopped and halved

  • 1 stick (1/2 pack) butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 oz unsalted macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 1 bar brown dairy chocolate, chopped and halved
  • 1 bar white dairy chocolate, chopped and halved OR sub both for 2 bars of two-tone chocolate, chopped and halved

Instructions

1.      Mix butter,both sugars, egg, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder until you have a dough.

2.      Stir in the macadamia nuts and half of the chopped chocolate. Set the rest aside for topping.

3.      Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

4.      Roll into balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and flatten slightly.

5.      Bake at 375°F / 190°C for 15 minutes.

6.      Press the remaining chocolate onto each cookie and return to the oven for 5 more minutes.
