Any shipment with a total value of up to $150 is completely tax exempt. No customs, no VAT.
Exceptions:
The tax exemption does not apply to tobacco products, alcohol, and electronic cigarettes.

How Shipping Costs Are Calculated:
The $150 limit applies only to the value of the goods themselves. Shipping and insurance fees don't count toward this limit if they're listed separately.
Example: You order $140 worth of items with $20 shipping. Total cost is $160, but only the $140 counts toward the tax exemption, so you pay no taxes.
The 72-Hour Rule:If you place multiple orders from the same supplier within 72 hours, customs will combine them into one shipment and calculate taxes on the total value.
Example: Order $100 on Monday and $80 on Wednesday from the same site = $180 combined, and you'll pay taxes on the full amount.
Note: In practice, sites like Amazon may split your order into separate packages, and this rule doesn't always apply.
